Jonathan J. Iversen brings to Frazier Law a broad foundation in business, litigation, appellate, and constitutional law, together with years of experience in sales, client service, management, and entrepreneurship. His legal training and first-hand business experience give Jonathan a practical perspective on the legal issues facing entrepreneurs, businesses, and individuals.

During law school, Jonathan gained experience across a wide range of legal settings. As a Rule 39 Certified Limited Practice Student in Arizona State University’s Entrepreneurship & Small Business Clinic, he prepared legal memoranda, an operating agreement, and contracts for clients. He also worked as a summer associate at a top mid-sized Phoenix firm, completing projects across seven practice groups. Jonathan previously externed for Vice Chief Justice John R. Lopez IV of the Arizona Supreme Court, where he prepared bench memoranda addressing matters before the Court.

Jonathan’s experience also includes constitutional and public-interest law. As a legal extern with the Goldwater Institute, he researched and analyzed issues arising under the Arizona Constitution. He previously spent a summer with First Liberty Institute, working on religious-liberty matters and researching and writing on constitutional issues. While at First Liberty, Jonathan also researched, wrote, and argued a brief before a panel of three sitting federal judges in a moot court competition.

Before law school, Jonathan built a diverse career in business development, sales, client service, and management. He worked with companies including TicketManager, BuildZoom, Shareworks by Morgan Stanley, and Charles Schwab, and also owned and managed businesses in the insurance and e-commerce industries. These experiences exposed Jonathan to the operational, financial, and relationship-management challenges businesses face and inform his practical approach to client service and problem solving.​

Jonathan earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, graduating in the top 10% of his class and earning induction into the Order of the Coif. He attended law school on a full merit tuition waiver and received the CALI Award for Advanced Legal Research, Contract Drafting and Negotiation, and Cults and Alternative Religions. He received the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award in Legal Advocacy. He was also repeatedly recognized as a Pedrick Scholar and participated in the O’Connor Honors Program.

While at ASU Law, Jonathan served as Editor-in-Chief of the Corporate and Business Law Journal, President of the Christian Legal Society, Vice President of the Federalist Society, and a representative of the Republican Law Association. His scholarship includes Fiduciary Fault Lines: Navigating Ethical Conflicts in Arizona’s Alternative Business Structures, which examines ethical issues arising from Arizona’s innovative Alternative Business Structure framework.

Jonathan earned his B.S. summa cum laude in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University. He also serves as an officer candidate in the Arizona Army National Guard and participates in ongoing military training.

Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys ballroom dancing—a continuation of his years as a professional dance instructor and training director—along with weightlifting, classical literature, and experimenting with emerging technology through “vibe coding.”
