Frazier Law, PLLC shares with great excitement that Maddalena S. Savary has joined the Firm as a Partner.  She will co-lead the firm's Public Interest & Political Law practice group and will also provide business litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and appellate practice services for the firm's clients.
Before joining Frazier Law, Maddalena practiced with one of Arizona’s oldest full-service law firms in the areas of appellate, administrative, civil, and commercial litigation, including health law defense.  She previously clerked for the Honorable Kathryn H. King and the Honorable James P. Beene of the Arizona Supreme Court, as well as for then-Judge Beene of the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.  Maddalena’s government-sector experience also includes serving as legislative counsel for a nonprofit advocacy organization and legal externships with the Arizona Supreme Court, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Office of General Counsel, Arizona Secretary of State’s Elections Division, Arizona Attorney General’s Civil Rights Division, and the Arizona House of Representatives Rules Office.
Â
Maddalena’s extensive exposure to legislative, executive, and judicial processes provides clients with a distinct advantage in matters of government accountability, ballot access, election administration, and administrative law challenges.  She blends litigation skill with a public-interest perspective, enabling her to craft practical and constitutionally-grounded solutions for politically engaged clients.
Â
Maddalena graduated with honors from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, earning the highest pro bono distinction, the W.P. Carey/Armstrong Award Prize for Public Service, the Jonathan Paul Schubert Scholarship, the Graduate and Professional Student Association Outstanding Mentor Award, the Rebecca and Michael Berch Scholarship, the Judge Mary M. Schroeder 1st Year Pro Bono Achievement Award, and the Carstens Family Fund Merit Scholarship.  Maddalena was a key leader in several student organizations, including the Federalist Society and the Christian Legal Society (CLS).Â
Â
Prior to law school, Maddalena earned her paralegal degree from Pima Community College, and for years supported both public and private sector lawyers in their pursuit of justice.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology cum laude from the University of Arizona.
Â
Outside the office, Maddalena enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and exploring new culinary experiences.
Maddalena is an amazing counselor, leader, and person. Frazier Law is thrilled and fortunate to have her as part of the team.
